Even if they don't I'd be going there! This has to be the best burger joint in Greenfield!
yes
No they do not. I'm not sure where they get it from but it's not made there.
Call them for specials
Sundae's at fall creek and 76th I believe.
You will have to ask for it
We own Tyner Pond Farm which raises all for the Grassfed Beef, Pastured Pork and Chicken for The Mug. Nothing has traveled more than 15 miles & never had any antibiotics or GMO's
Ever since the Mug has opened, it has been a great place to eat. I don't go there too often, but when I do, it is well worth it. The food is good, everybody's friendly, and with everything going on in the world now, they have a smooth system of operation. Highly recommended!
Has plenty of outdoor seating, great place to enjoy lunch on a nice day
We love the Mug! Whether it’s a blue Cookie Monster milk shake, or the original mug burger or Aunt Polly’s sloppy joe, it’s a win for us. We love to get the Mug to go and head to Riley park across the way for a family picnic.
Im usually not one to complain but somebody needs to take it easy with the salt.
I've only been there once, but that will not be the case for long. The food here is very high quality. Best Drive-in spot I've had in a long time. I went with a small group and we all got to taste what everyone else had ordered. I tried the Bacon cheese burger, the tenderloin, the pulled pork, the bacon apples, and my personal favorite the sloppy Joe. I was a little disappointed they were out of hotdogs, but the idea of the sloppy joe on a hot dog will bring me back. All the food is farm fresh and delicious. You may have to wait for them to make it, because it's all made to order, but its worth the wait. Highly recommended.
Loved the outdoor atmosphere. Sloppy joe a little too sweet for me. Onion rings good. Garlic fries had way to much garlic on them.
We love The Mug!!!! Our favorite place to eat in Greenfield, IN . Burgers are amazing and then add garlic fries for a perfect meal. Super friendly staff to go along with great food. Always a happy experience. Thank you The Mug and see you soon.
First time ever been here. Really good I will definitely come back.. great food good prices..
Waited 45 minutes for food. Not sure if this is normal for them. Definitely need to change the oil. Onion rings were greasy and tasted of old oil.
One of our favorite places to eat! The food and service are great! You can’t really go wrong with anything on the menu as each family member has a favorite - tenderloin, pulled pork, cheeseburger, French fries(and I’m not even a fry person but these are on another level), and of course the root beer floats! It’s fun to have dinner on the picnic tables and we often place orders through DoorDash! An all time favorite of Greenfield!
LOVE The Mug! Great quality LOCAL food. We rarely have to wait long for our food, but often do our order online before we arrive just in case they're busy. Then it's ready for us as soon as we walk in. My favorite thing about The Mug is their ice cream selection: great quality local ice cream made with natural ingredients and the coolest flavors around. Always rotating flavor selection but our absolute favorite flavor is Graham Central Station. SO GREAT.
Absolutely delicious! I got a burger and the housemade root beer. The only thing I feel they could have improved on was the fries, they tasted store bought. The burger alone was with it though!
The food is spectacular, I had the tenderloin and the key lime pie ice cream. The tenderloin is well spiced and cooked perfectly. Breading was perfect. It's also absolutely massive, so definitely come hungry! Partially eaten tenderloin pictures below. No indoor seating because it's a drive-up and order type of place. Some outdoor seating if you prefer getting out of your car, but it's limited and not all of it is covered. Would definitely come back again.
Found this place in Indiana top food places and it's not lying. This is the best tenderloin sandwich ! Employees were nice and for fresh, from scratch food the cook time was great. Definitely will be back 👍
The tenderloin was awesome! Great service!
I've been here several times, the food is always fresh and tastes good. The staff is friendly. A solid option for Greenfield.
Great burger with pork on it. Fries were meh. Love that they have Sundaes ice cream there, but didn't get any.
My family and I make special trips from downtown Indy just to visit The Mug! The staff is always friendly and the food is amazing especially for fast casual dinning. The double burger is my go to!
Only give it one star because I have to. Ordered the jalapeño popper burger and pulled pork fries. Cheeseburger was not the jalapeño popper burger and pulled pork fries did not have coleslaw on it like menu said. Will never go back again.
I love The Mug! I live in Greenfield and they are always friendly, clean, and the food is excellent. Very reasonable prices. It's a fun place to go.
Burgers were very tasty and ingredients were high quality. It takes a while for them to cook since everything is fresh but worth the wait.
Great place to get great food. Love local food
Huge Tenderloin! Fresh and tasty. Friendly and nice atmosphere.
By no means is this place "fast food", but it is well worth the wait. Everything our party ordered was fantastic and there were several other things we wanted to come back and try. The food is made fresh and sourced locally. They have tons of family board games to play together while you wait. The root beer is great, if you like root beer.
Ice cream & garlic fries are notable. Other plates I had were fresh but out of balance. "Coney" dog had homemade sloppy Joe sauce that was so sweet it overpowered the whole thing. Bacon sweet corn was so salt forward it was hard to eat. I'll go back but man these guys could have a winner if they learned or bothered to balance their flavors! .
Loved going to The Mug in both Irvington and Greenfield. Just found out that the Irvington one closed down?! Is this permanent? This location was the closest one to me.
This place is truly awesome. They focus on locally-sourced ingredients when possible, but they do not cut any corners on flavor. The mac dog (yes, a hot dog with mac & cheese on it) was delicious; the sweet corn and bacon side was unique and very tasty. The burger was flavorful and the fries were perfect. On top of all that, the service was very friendly. The enclosed patio was a nice feature as well. If you're in the area, definitely give this place a try.
The food was amazing. Best pulled pork I have ever had. I was there in the slow afternoon, so I hung around to work for an hour or so, and they were great. Very accommodating, offering refills, etc. It was a nice quiet place to work with the shade and a nice breeze. Great view of the park and old chapel. I LOVE that the food is farm to table. I am restricted to a pretty careful diet, avoiding a lot of chemicals and preservatives, so eating out can be tricky. It was great to find a place in a small town with fair prices with wholesome food! One complaint: their bathroom is not the best set up. There is an extra door inside the restroom for the kitchen staff to enter. There is a sign that says to lock the door when in use and to unlock when you leave. Although the door was locked, the staff failed to knock, and unlocked the door AS they turned the knob and walked right in! Luckily, I was washing my hands, but this could have been VERY embarrassing.
Grew up in Greenfield and have been coming here since it was a dated car hop called Frosty Mug.New ownership came with a complete rebuild of the menu (and building) which propelled this to one of the top restaurants in Greenfield and best burgers in Hancock county. The difference in quality since it became 'The Mug' is something to experience.Meat and some product are locally sourced from farms less than 5miles away and care is given where care is due.So, if you've never been, be prepared to wait just a little longer for your meal. This is the furthest thing fr McDonald's and everything is made to order. Don't take my word for it. Borrow a convertible, pick a space, and go taste for yourself.
Great tasting food! Friendly staff and service
It is very popular. If you do not order on line, there is a wait.
Never been here before but wanted to have a breaded tenderloin. Definitely worth the drive there. The tenderloin was perfect and the fries yummy. Staff was super friendly and love the atmosphere. We will be back soon !!
Fresh food made to order, giant portions, friendly staff, well laid out premises, they have it all. Order online, in your car, or inside plus a walk up window for ice cream. Location is great being directly across the street from the park.
Great people, burger and fries were delicious! 10/10 would recommend.
Friendly service! Easy in and out. Breaded tenderloin was huge! Watch edge for gristle - my only negative
Great people and atmosphere. Root beer and tenderloin was delicious 10/10 would eat here again.
The food is generally good, but the wait will always be 30 mins, and usually 45 mins or more. Managing this with kids isn't realistic. I won't go back without pre-ordering.
The food was delicious and plentiful! Can't wait to go back and try more of the yummy choices. The tenderloins are the best that I have had in a long time! Prices are very reasonable and all meats and products are from local farmers! A must try for sure!
Loved the burgers. The fries were pretty good too. I'd be back often if it was closer.
A great dive with good food and friendly staff. They have ice cream and excellent hotdogs. My wife enjoyed the hamburger she ordered.
The grass fed meat is delicious and the girls are so friendly and informative. Everything we've eaten there is wonderful.
Amazing food good prices for the quality and the fact rhat its a farm to table
The Mug is a “must stop” every time we visit Greenfield. The food is as local as local can get!
Now that's what I call a drive in! Epic pork tenderloin! Pasture raised pork, real deal baby!
I've always loved coming here. They have amazing food. And awesome root beer floats!!
We had a 45 minute wait for food or food sit on the counter for 15 to 20 minutes they did not deliver it or call us
Love The Mug!!!! Favorite place to pick up our department lunches!! We missed you last week but we’ll be back soon!
Took 40 minutes to get our food on a Thursday evening that wasn't all that busy and then they got part of the order wrong. Food is decent but a bit pricey. Still fun and one of the very few too-your-car drive-ins left. Hope they get their act together in terms of service. I'd really like for this to be a great place.
